Our dental x-rays are taken digitally which enables crystal clear imaging with only 10% of the radiation exposure required for the standard equivalent film x-ray. Dental X-rays are pictures of the teeth, bones, and soft tissues around them to help find problems with the teeth, mouth, and jaw. X-ray pictures can show cavities, hidden dental structures (such as wisdom teeth), and bone loss that cannot be seen during a visual examination. Dental X-rays may also be done as follow-up after dental treatments.
X-rays are only taken when we believe it will directly benefit your dental health. Dental x-rays are routine to your dental health in order to provide you with the highest standard of care in through diagnosis and treatment planning.
